RESIDENTS in elevated parts of Nausori, Tailevu South and Rewa Delta are advised of water supply disruptions from this evening.
The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has notified customers of a major burst main at Duilomaloma Rd in Wailuku, Nausori.
Water supply will be temporarily disrupted from tonight until 8am tomorrow (Thursday, June 6, 2019).
Areas that will be affected are:
Vunivivi
Lakena Hill 1 & 2
Baulevu – Calia Rd
Vatoa
Ovea
Cautata
Waituri
Kiuva
Nasilai
Nakorovou
Noco Areas
Waicoka
Bau Island, and
Nakoroivau.
Residents in those areas are advised to store up on water and use it wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
WAF has advised of carting trucks that are on standby to service those areas as and when the need arises during the temporary disruption period.

Supply is expected to be gradually restored by 8am tomorrow.
