PEOPLE shopping in the Sugar City today were literally stopped by a dancing skeleton.
Swaying to the sounds of classic rock tracks was Gura, a diminutive skeleton puppet, skillfully controlled by puppeteer Chikara Kurahashi.
The 28-year-old Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) volunteer said he decided to display his skills at the corner of Naviti and Vakabale Streets in a bid to bring smiles to children on holidays.
“I’ve been doing this in Japan since I was 20 and just to see the wide-eyed smiles on the kids today was worth it,” he shared.
