THE Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has advised its customers living in elevated parts of Koronivia that water supply will be disrupted from 10pm tonight until Tuesday morning.
The authority said the interruption in supply would allow the cut-in works to the 250mm x 100mm water main located along the Kings Road at Koronivia.
Areas expected to be affected include part of Kings Road, Koronivia from Junction FNU Lab Road to Dalip Street, FNU Lab Road, Koronivia campus and quarters, Koronivia Research Station, Koronivia Road, part of Koronivia Road from Kings Road Junction to Tawakelevu Road Junction, Dalip Street abd Mosque Feeder Rd.
Customers in those areas are advised to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water carting trucks are on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises.

Water supply is expected to be normalised by 5am on Tuesday, March 12.
