Vodafone Premier League: Tavua takes charge in points table

THE Tavua football side has taken a surprise lead in the Vodafone Premier League standings.

Tavua has played six matches so far and has nine points from it.

Ba and Labasa have seven points each while Lautoka, Nadi, Nasinu and Suva are on six points each.

Rewa sits at the bottom of the points table with three points.

Tavua defeated Labasa -1 at Subrail Park today.

Meanwhile, two matches will be played at Suva’s ANZ Stadium tomorrow.

Nasinu battles Lautoka at 1pm after which Suva plays Nadi at 3pm.
