THERE is now a heavy rain warning in place for the Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, eastern and interior parts of Viti Levu.
The Fiji Meteorological Service (FMS) is continuing to monitor Tropical Depression 06F, which was situated at about 420kilometres East-Northeast of Cikobia, Vanua Levu, at 6am today.
It is moving towards Vanuabalavu at about 30km/hour.
TD06F is expected to track Southwards towards the Lau Group.
Members of the public have been advised to prepare for rain, heavy at times.
