Update: 11:16AM TIDAL surges have been reported on the Island of Ono-i-Lau overnight, but luckily no causalities.
This was reported by the Fiji Maritime Surveillance Rescue Coordination Centre’s official Twitter account on social media.
The FMSRCC said it has been in full operations and in contact with Southern Lau Islands that is said to be in the projected path of Tropical Cyclone Gita.
