Junior Farzan wants return fight with Singh

EXPERIENCED boxer Junior Farzan Ali wants to fight Sebastian Singh again in future.

Ali lost to Singh by knockout in the Canada Fiji Southern Boxing Promotion in June earlier this year.

He will fight Krishnil Mudaliar in the super lightweight division of the Canada Fiji Southern Boxing Promotion in Nadi next month.

“I am looking forward to the fight against Krishnil Mudaliar,” he said.

“I have let the fans down in my last fight against Sebastian Singh and I urge my fans to come out and support me during this fight.

“The fight against Krishnil will be a testing ground for me and I need the support of the fans to back me up.”

Ali has fought 38 bouts wining 28 including 19 knockout with eight losses and two draws.

“I will still be part of boxing in Fiji and put up a bit more weight and get ready for Sebastian Singh,” he added.

“Before I retire I want to face him again.

“I was fasting and that was the reason for my loss to him.”

Singh said he had proven who was the true winner on the day.

“I am not willing to waste any more time on that as we had already fought where he had his shot and I had my shot and we both prepared well, but on the fight night he did not deliver,” he said.

“I am not going to disappoint the fans.

“Junior is a good fighter, but he is not of my calibre and standard.”

Ali and Mudaliar will fight in the 6×3 super lightweight category.
