SPORTS enthusiasts can now look forward to quality, more affordable sports supplements in Fiji and the Pacific. Mana Whey Protein, the Pacific’s first sports supplement brand was introduced in Fiji last year. In a short period of time, Mana is now present in several Pacific Island countries. Mana is affordable, great tasting, locally made sports supplement brand and boasts the quality to be competitive against top sports supplements throughout the world. Mana Whey Protein ambassadors Inoke Ligairi and Winston Hill gave us a short testimonial on the product and the benefits so far since they have been consuming Mana Whey Protein.

Fiji Bodybuilding champion Inoke Ligairi won the Mr Fiji title three years in a row (2014, 2015, 2016).

He has been using Whey Protein ever since he started bodybuilding more than four years ago. Supplementation is part of the sport and he has used countless brands of whey protein but when he started using Mana Whey over a year ago, it did exactly what it was supposed to do and he ranked it amongst one of the best he has used.

“It mixes well with either water or milk, very smooth on the stomach and it’s even great when you blend it with fruits or carbs for a smoothie,” said Mr Ligairi.

“I train six days a week and Mana Whey has always helps me recover in time for my next session and helps me gain lean muscle. To top it off, its local and it’s pretty affordable which helps you in being consistent in using it and helps you progress towards your goals. I would recommend Mana Whey to anyone as part of your supplement in whatever sports you are in or if you just love working out and training, even if your goal is losing weight, a supplement such as Mana Whey really helps you increase your daily protein intake to help in your recovery.”

Ligairi’s personal achievements in the sports arena are as follows:

Fiji’s top amateur boxer and Olympian Winston Hill settled for a silver medal in the 2017 Oceania Championship in Australia in June this year. Hill said he had been supplementing with whey protein for over three years now in conjunction with a vigorous training regimen and a nutritious diet.

“Ever since I was introduced to Mana Whey Protein about 1 year ago, I noticed the benefits and positive effects that it had, not only on my physical performances and recovery, but also on my wallet,” said Hill.

“As a product that is locally produced, Mana Whey Protein matches the quality of overseas/imported products by world class renown brands and is more affordable.

“I use Mana Whey Protein to match my required daily food (protein & calorie) intake, which in turn helps with muscle recovery so that I can perform at my best the next day. As an elite athlete in the sport of boxing, weight management is important and without a doubt, I can say that Mana whey protein works very well for me.”
