Update: 9:22PM A MORE extensive range of online services is expected to be fully operational by mid-2017 by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
Customers will be able to:
– Book online and make payments for vehicle inspection;
– Make Traffic Infringement Notice (TIN) payments for those TINs payable at LTA;
– Submit a PSV preliminary application;
– Book a Defensive Driving Course;
– Apply for a learners permit; and
– Renew their drivers license.
A statement by the LTA stated the online services that were now available were focused on a range of customer information.
It stated that that included infringement notices, license and registration expiry dates, fee calculators for determining driver license and vehicle registration renewal fees, and the ability to update contact details.
Registered online customers will also start receiving email notifications in advance advising them of vehicle registration renewals, driver license renewals, and traffic infringements due for payment.
To access the online services, customers may pick up a registration form from an LTA Customer Service Centre or download from www.lta.com.fj.
All completed forms are to be returned to the centre.
LTA’s IT manager Rajeshwar Prasad said a confirmation email would be sent once processing was finalised.
