HUNDREDS of people turned up for the four-day Vodafone Gold and Water Carnival at the renovated Garvey Park in Tavua last week.
The park suffered considerable damage during Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston earlier this year and the new look ground received positive reviews from residents and authorities alike.
Tavua Town Council CEO Vikash Naidu said the festival, which was organised to lift the spirits of the people post-Severe TC Winston, was a success.
