Jennifer Aniston no longer harbours ill will toward her former husband Brad Pitt, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be a little human and gain a small measure of satisfaction after learning that his marriage to Angelina Jolie has fallen apart.
Us Weekly says Aniston, who was married to Pitt for five years until Jolie reportedly came between them, sees the news that Jolie has filed for divorce as “karma”.
“Yeah, that’s karma for you,” an insider said Aniston, 47, reportedly told a friend while discussing the divorce news.
“She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually,” this insider told Us Weekly.
The Friends star and Pitt were Hollywood’s hottest couple in the late 1990s — before Pitt and Jolie became the hottest couple of the past decade.
Aniston and the Fight Club star married in 2000 but divorced five years later, after Pitt met Jolie on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
