A taste for good food

THE beautiful and ambitious Christine Badia has lived a life that most young people have been dreaming of today, being successful and helping youths become successful too.

She says she really loves food and it plays a big part in her life.

Not only is Christine the new brand ambassador for Philips in the country, she is also the founder of the Fiji All Stars Sports Academy in collaboration with Sports World and is a former Australian model and tennis player. Christine who was born to a German mother and Brazilian father spent almost a decade living in Europe and Australia before she moved to Fiji.

While residing in Australia, Christine enjoyed many years of being an elite junior tennis player representing her state nationally and touring the country while also playing women’s state grade tennis and state junior volleyball.

Christine said she played tennis with the likes of former world number one Lleyton Hewitt and Mark Phillippousis and enjoyed running and coaching at her successful Tennis Academy in Western Australia.

She even landed major commercial modelling contracts in Australia with international brands with the likes of MAC Makeup for Myers Australia, Kappa Sportswear, Sony music, Stash surf wear and she even graced numerous internationally circulated FHM magazines in her commercial modelling career.
