Tailevu students mark World First Aid Day

Listen to this article:

ABOUT 100 students from around the Tailevu area were part of the Fiji Red Cross Society World First Aid Day celebrations at the Tailevu North College grounds today.

Society director general Filipe Nainoca said the students took part in the first aid trainings organised by them.

“Every year, we celebrate this day. This year we decided to bring the activities to the area of Tailevu,” Mr Nainoca said.

“These students are from six schools around the area. The response by them has been encouraging. We have also trained the teachers as well,” he added.
