TO infuse more local flavours in signature cocktail drinks, InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa has enlisted the services of renowned mixologist Evan Stanley.
According to the resort, Mr Stanley would be based at the property’s Kama Lounge, helping to educate the beverage team in the art of mixology, including the use of local products to create new cocktails.
InterContinental Fiji’s director for dining and entertainment, Akira Tanaka, said they were excited to have someone of such a calibre in the newly refurbished Kama Lounge.
“Evan will assist in the creation of new cocktails infused with local ingredients to be introduced to our extensive offering. Through engaging Evan, this will contribute to the delivery of a heightened experience across our restaurants and bars, InterContinental meetings and Club InterContinental,” he said.
“Delegates and guests alike can expect a true sense of place with our well-crafted cocktails complemented with amazing vistas at Natadola Bay.”
Throughout his career, Mr Stanley has won Time Out Magazine’s (Melbourne) Bartender of the Year 2014 and has been named the ALIA (Australian Liquor Industry Awards) Bartender of the Year 2013.
