AN increasing number of child abuse cases committed by elderly citizens makes one wonder whether the Government will provide for a special elderly remand centre for those aged who would be serving time for committing unthinkable child related offences?
Age factor with physical challenges and deteriorating health conditions could be contributing factors in this case.
Rest of their remaining years will be spent regretting their sinful act at a well-equipped elderly centre where they shall be given facilities but will surely miss the surroundings of their home and company of their loved ones.
