ONLINE advertising and online shopping is now a global trend and Rup Investments Ltd is one of the first local companies to join the trend.
Last week the company launched its online shopping platform, www.roopkirani.com.fj, for its clothing stores Roop Ki Rani collections.
“Having been around in the clothing business for more than 10 years now, we know a good thing when we see it, which is why we have created the Roop Ki Rani online store and have permanently stocked it with the best and most fashionable bridal wear, sarees, lehnga, salwar, ladies Western wear, menswear, men’s sherwani, Indo-Western suits, kids’ wear, fashion accessories, jewellery and much more,” said web co-ordinator Sandeep Narayan.
He said, “the online shopping is a new platform for our customers in Fiji. In overseas customers are used to shopping online, a trend which will definitely prosper in Fiji in the coming years”.
Roop Ki Rani online is an ecommerce shopping site which gives the customers a chance to browse through the merchandise at their own time and allow them to make a purchase.
Payments can be made through Vodafone MPAiSA, credit cards or direct bank deposits. Delivery for locals will usually be between three and five working days while for international customers the delivery will take about 14 to 21 working days.
Mr Narayan said, “there were Fijian families living overseas who had work or other commitments and were not able to attend family functions such as weddings and other events in Fiji and so they would be able to make their purchases online and have it delivered to the functions as gifts”.
Customers in Fiji are encouraged to try browsing and shopping online from the convenience of their home or office. The website is also fully accessible on mobile devices.
