“In the early 1970s, Mr Chandra was the production manager for a UK based company in Fiji called Hensher (Fiji) Limited in joint venture with British Vita Limited.
While CHF’s continued to export and produce high quality furniture, the company managed to secure international brand names to manufacture in their Fiji factory such as “King Koil”. This also gave the company an edge to expand into other Fijian markets such as hospitality, commercial services and health care supply, allowing CHF to become a major player in the Pacific market”.
