NORTHERN fans will get a chance to witness two Courts Inter-District Championship games when the first round of the games are played.
To make it better, both Labasa and the newly promoted Dreketi will be in action.
Dreketi, who are in Group A of the IDC face holders Suva while Labasa gets a chance to use their home support as they face the in-form Rewa side, hoping to make it three tournament wins this year.
Suva who have been bolstered with the return of Ravinesh Karan Singh, will also have Christopher Wasasala and Manasa Levaci in their squad and Antonio Tuivuna has moved from Nadi to strengthen their midfield. Suva president Mahendra Prasad said Suva was aiming to retain the IDC title.
Meanwhile the fixtures have been made in a way to allow the semi-finalist of the premier division a day’s break.
After the first round in Labasa, the IDC moves to Govind Park in Ba from Wednesday. Final premier pool games would be played on Thursday and the four who make it to the semi-final get a rest day on Friday October 9, and semi-finals resume the day after.
