$938K for five ‘key’ Fiji Development Bank managers – annual report

The Fiji Development Bank (FDB) paid its five key managers $938,166 in 2022, compared with $694,980 in 2021, states the FDB’s 2022 annual report that was tabled in Parliament last week.

The report states key management personnel are those persons having the authority and responsibility for planning, directing and controlling the activities of the entity.

They are listed in the report as Saud Minam (chief executive officer), Shaukat Ali (general manager relationship and sales), Bimal Sudhakar (general manager business risk services), Saiyad Hussain (general manager finance and administration) and Semisi Biumaiwai (general manager talent and organisational development).

The directors fee paid during the year was $95,463 compared with $102,353 in 2021.

They are listed as Andre Viljoen (chairperson), Vadivelu Pillay, Rajesh Patel, Inia Rokotuiei Naiyaga, Maimuna Haniff, Asilika Rogers and Romit Parshottam Meghji.

FDB had 180 employees as at June 30, 2022, compared with 187 in 2021.
