EIGHTY-nine Sunday school choirs from the Methodist of Fiji divisions around the country are participating in the church’s annual Festival of Praise at Furnival Park, Toorak, in Suva today.
Dilkusha Home Choir director Miliakere Tabu said she chose a gospel song that depicted the story of the young 32-choir members.
She said despite their situation, they continued to put on that smile because their strength comes from Jesus Christ.
“I feel honoured and blessed to work with these children. I’ve been working with them for over the past four years and it has been a humbling experience,” Mrs Tabu said.
Meanwhile, the Bose ko Viti will be held next week.
Methodist Church of Fiji spokesperson Reverend Wilfred Regu said issues of concerns from the church’s 58 divisions would be tabled at that forum.
