SEVENTY-eight Corrections offices were on cloud nine today after completing a 14-week basic recruit training.

Speaking in the iTaukei language, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama reminded them of their responsibilities.

“When you serve in your new roles, you will certainly face your fair share of challenges,” Mr Bainimarama said.

“In our correctional facilities today, we face emerging issues such as the smuggling of contraband – that will be your duty to address.”
