The winners of the 69th Hibiscus Festival will take home more than $21,000 worth of prizes, including return tickets for two to either Australia or New Zealand courtesy of Fiji Airways and a $7000 three-night Blue Lagoon cruise for two from South Sea Cruises.
Other prizes include a one-day internship on the Art of Entrepreneurship in Business, a Samsung iPad from Media Form Australia, a mobile phone from Vodafone, a Phillips TV courtesy of Gokals Fiji and two VVIP tickets to the Fiji Fashion Week (FFW).
She will also receive prize money from the Suva City Council (SCC), a two-hour mentorship on how to become a TV presenter and win an audition for a presenter, a dress from Pacific Island Arts (PIA), a Kaftan Lux from ZN Boutique and luxury hair treatment at Edge Hair Design Fiji.
Hunter Pearls Fiji will also be giving the Queen jewelleries worth over $1000, while Lords Jewellers has pledged jewellery of about the same amount. She will be treated to dinner at the Eden Restaurant and will receive a dress and handbag from Jadiene Whiteside.
For the first runner-up, prizes include a one-day trip South Sea sailing on the Sabre, a Mack iPod from Media Form, a phone from Vodafone, an evening clutch from Shopaholic, a Bahama GK46 oven toaster from Gokals and a cash prize from SCC.
She will also receive jewelleries from Hunter Pearls and Lord Jewellers, a dress from PIA, a return ticket to any Fiji Link direct destination, two VVIP tickets to FFW and dinner at the Eden Restaurant.
The second runner-up will receive a cash prize from SCC, a return ticket to any direct Fiji Link destination, a day at Malamala Beach Club and cruise tickets for two courtesy of South Sea Cruises, a phone from Vodafone, an air fryer from Gokals, jewelleries from Hunter Pearls and Lord Jewellers, two VVIP tickets to FFW, dinner at the Eden Restaurant and a dress from PIA.
In total, prizes for the Queen, first runner-up and second runner-up come to $21,048.
