A $5MILLION investment by the Tanoa Hotel Group will result in the expansion of Lautoka-based Tanoa Waterfront Hotel next year.
According to group chairman YP Reddy, a major part of the expansion included the construction of more rooms.
“We will have 14 additional executive rooms and we will roll out the fresh pizza and tandoori restaurant currently available at the Tanoa International in Nadi,” he said.
“There will also be a multi-purpose sports facility including tennis courts, netball and volleyball courts and state-of-the-art gym available for guests and outside users.”
Other upgrade works at the property include an extension of the existing entertainment lawn and back of house areas.
“Works are designed to improve our product offering and create a more vibrant atmosphere at the hotel.
“Our guests’ needs and demands are constantly changing together with increased competition, thus the board has decided to embark on this extension and further cement Tanoa Waterfront as the number one hotel in Lautoka.”
