The 2026 McDonald’s Coral Coast Sevens is set to make history, offering the richest prize purse seen in Fijian rugby.

Set to take place along the stunning Coral Coast, the tournament will award $50,000 Fijian dollars to the men’s division winners, part of a total prize pool exceeding $80,000.

Regarded as Fiji’s premier sevens tournament, the Coral Coast Sevens continues to draw elite local and international teams, all vying for the prestigious i-wau trophy.

This year’s edition promises high-octane action, thrilling speed, and a celebration of Fijian rugby flair on one of the sport’s most iconic stages.

“This is more than just a tournament, it’s a celebration of world-class rugby, Fijian culture, and a return to the spirit of sevens,” said the founding chairman Mr Jay Whyte.

“With the highest-ever prize purse on the line, expect to see the best of the best heading to the Coral Coast to stake their claim.”

With global sides lining up for a chance at sevens glory and Fijian teams ready to defend their ground, the 2026 Coral Coast Sevens is expected to be one of the most memorable chapters in Fiji’s sevens legacy.
