THE Ba Football Association received a major boost after raising $50,000 during its fundraising dinner held at the Xavier College Auditorium on Saturday night.

Hundreds of passionate fans and representatives from Ba’s top business houses converged at the venue, showing strong support for the association’s vision of growth and professionalism.

Ba FA president Praneel Dayal confirmed the successful outcome of the event, highlighting the unity shown by the community.

“Yes, Ba Football tonight, fundraising night, we have raised $50,000 from the proceeds of the sale of the tickets,” Dayal said.

He said the funds would play a vital role in strengthening the association’s operations and long-term plans.

“Yes, basically it’s going to help our association moving forward with all the operating resources that we have right now and trying to get the association to a professional level.”

Dayal also stressed the importance of player welfare, noting the rising costs involved in maintaining a competitive team.

“There is a lot of expenses incurring right now, getting the players who are training, make sure they are attending home and training. The welfare is being looked after through all these proceeds right now.”

The successful turnout reflects the strong backing Ba Football continues to receive from its supporters and business community as it aims to elevate its standards on and off the field.
