A total of 5500 children with ages ranging between 10 to 15 years old are travelling to Seaqaqa, Macuata on Vanua Levu today for the Fiji Mission Pathfinder’s Camporee.

There were eight buses full of pathfinders traveling from Viti Levu via Interlink today.

Fiji Mission Pathfinder’s Camporee organiser Reverend Sentiki Waqa said the camporee was held after every five years.

This year, the theme is ‘Is the Promise’, and Mr Waqa said young people would learn about life skills during the week-long camp.

“These are young people from all Seventh Day Adventist in Fiji. With some Fijians from Australia and Papua New Guinea,” he said.

President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere will open the camp at 10 am on Tuesday.
