500 Taiwanese tourists to take historical direct flight to Fiji

Update: 4:01PM CLOSE to 500 Taiwanese tourists will arrive tomorrow morning on board Fiji’s first direct charter flight from Taipei to Nadi.

This has
been possible through a joint collaboration between Rosie Holidays, national
carrier Fiji Airways and other stakeholders.

Rosy Holidays managing director Tony Whitton said Taiwan was a new and emerging
market together with Korea, India and China.

“My company
has been working to develop this over the past 10 years,” he said.

On Tuesday Rosie Holidays flew in 300 Chinese tourists, the first of
1500 expected over the next two weeks on four China-Nadi chartered flights.
