ACTING Chief Justice Kamal Kumar opened the Civil Law Workshop at Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort this morning.
He said said a fundamental requirement of judicial officers was integrity and dignity.
“One thing we must always take heed of is that an impartial, fair and efficient judiciary is the cornerstone of a democratic society,” he said.
About 50 judicial officers are attending the three-day forum.
