A TOTAL of 46 individuals graduated from the Fiji National University’s School for Tourism, Hospitality & Travel at Namaka, Nadi on Monday.

Officiating at the event, Minister for Youth and Sports Jese Saukuru said these youths once faced challenges on the streets, but today, they were proof that resilience and opportunity could change lives.

“Through the generous support of the Fiji National University’s Namaka Campus, especially the head of school for Tourism, Hospitality & Travel and her dedicated team, you have gained valuable skills in barbering, baking and patisserie, and tour guiding — skills that open doors to employment and entrepreneurship,” Mr Saukuru said.

The training was sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
