FIJIAN Police uprooted 400 plants believed to be marijuana at the Tacilevu hill in Cakaudrove, Vanua Levu, yesterday.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the plants were uprooted during a police operation.
“The operation is part of the Operation Cavuraka 3, which is currently progressing around the country,” Ms Naisoro said.
Acting chief operations Assistant Commissioner of Police Maretino Qiolevu said Operation Cavuraka 3 was underway and officers were revisiting areas known for the cultivation of marijuana and a specific target also on hard drugs.
