The Adi Nadroga Navosa Soli raised $321,000 last week. People from the province working in the Fiji Police Force, Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the Fiji Corrections Service contributed an impressive $102,000.

“This money will go towards development projects within the province of Nadroga/Navosa,” said Member of Parliament Inosi Kuridrani in a social media post.

“I would like to acknowledge the sheer hard work and dedication of all the different villages and tikina (districts) within our province, who donated so genenously to such a worthy cause.

“Let us learn to respect and embrace the unique culture and traditional practices of all ethnicities and cultures around us, for this is the only way forward for a better, more united and stronger Fiji.”

The event took place after a lapse of two years.
