3,121 apply for Fiji Police recruitment

More than 3,100 applicants have been shortlisted to attend the elimination phase for the Fiji Police Force Basic Recruits Course Batch 70.

Police confirmed that a total of 3,121 candidates will undergo the next stage of the recruitment process, which will be conducted across the Central, Western and Northern divisions.

Candidates from the Central Division have attended the elimination phase that started yesterday at the Nasova Grounds in Suva.

Western Division candidates will undergo their assessments from March 30 to April 3, and are required to report to the Lautoka Police Station on their allocated dates.

Meanwhile, candidates from the Northern Division will attend the elimination phase from April 6 to April 10 at the Labasa Police Station training room.

Candidates are required to wear neat civilian attire, including shoes, sandals or pumps, and must also bring physical training gear, consisting of a white round-neck T-shirt and black shorts with canvas shoes.

Applicants have also been advised to bring sufficient lunch and water for the duration of the day, as well as refreshments if needed.

The elimination phase forms part of the recruitment process for the Basic Recruits Course, where candidates will be assessed before progressing to the next stage of police training.
