31 teams at this year’s Oceania 7s

THIS year’s Oceania Rugby Sevens Championship is the region’s blue ribbon event and will host a record number of 484 players totalling 31 teams, representing 16 nations to compete in three days of competition also including 400 ground staff working behind the scenes.

New inclusion include Vanuatu women’s rugby team who will feature for the first time in their first international tournament.

Hosted in the capital Suva, the Oceania 7s will be the regional qualifier towards the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The tournament will be held at the ANZ Stadium on November 7-9.
