THE Melbourne Cup holds an exciting significance for 54-year-old Abdul Rauf, who has been actively engaged in betting for over 30 years.

This annual event brings together bettors from all walks of life, uniting in hopeful anticipation as they await the outcome of the races with crossed fingers.

In the Melbourne Cup which starts today, Rauf has placed his bet on Sea King, number 15, who recently achieved a convincing victory at the Bendigo Cup during his debut in Australia last week.

Rauf expresses confidence in Sea King’s potential to emerge victorious in this prestigious competition.

Additionally, he highlights another contender, number 13, an American horse renowned for its success in various American Cup races.

“I have been playing on grants betting for more then 30-years, it is really an exciting moment for us, we mostly come and do bets just part of enjoyment and its also helps us if we win,” said Rauf.

The competition boasts a strong lineup of exceptional horses, making it a race worth watching.

“We got all great horses in this competition, so we will say it will be a race to watch, they also have two female jockeys which adds a different level in this year’s competition.”
