3.4 magnitude quake recorded 26km South of Suva last night

Residents in Navua, Suva and Nausori felt an earthquake around 10:07pm last night.

Fiji Seismology states the 3.4 magnitude quake was recorded 26km South of Suva at a depth of 16km below sea-level.

“This is a felt event with reports received from the Navua, Suva to Nausori corridor,” said Fiji Seismology.

There was no immediate tsunami threat to Fiji and the region due to this earthquake.
