FIJI Pearls has chosen its 25 member squad as they prepare for the Netball World Cup which is to be held in July 12 to 21 in Liverpool, England.
The national side held its first trials today at the FMF gymnasium where more than 40 players were present.
Netball Fiji president Wainikiti Bogidrau said the association has certain expectations for the selected squad that they may perform to the best of their abilities.
“We are expecting that now they have been chosen into the team they would give it all they have.
“We need commitment, dedication and discipline from the players to train at a high performance level as elite netballers,” said Bogidrau.
The squad will now prepare for their first test match in April against Singapore.
