A total of 232 players have been confirmed for the 2025 Annual Sheraton Golf Classic, which tees off today at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort.
The six-day international Pro-Am and Teams Tournament features 39 professional golfers and 193 amateurs, bringing together players, partners, and golf enthusiasts from across the globe for a weeklong celebration of sport, community, and connection.
The tournament will be held across two of Fiji’s premier golf destinations – Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course and Denarau Golf & Racquet Club over four rounds of competition.
With over FJD $145,000 in professional prize money and amateur prizes up for grabs, the Sheraton Golf Classic is the largest tournament of its kind in Fiji. It continues to attract a dynamic mix of talent from Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.
Each team will comprise one professional and three amateurs, with competition formats including Stableford and Gross scoring, alongside individual contests for both amateurs and professionals.
Area general manager and vice president Pacific Islands for Marriott International, Neeraj Chadha, said the resort was proud to once again host the prestigious event.
“”The Sheraton Golf Classic not only highlights world-class golf but also supports tourism and community engagement, reinforcing Fiji as a premier destination for international sporting events.”
