Update: 3:14PM TWENTY-THREE flag designs have been shortlisted for the National Flag competition.
This was
announced today by acting Prime Minister and Attorney General Aiyaz
Sayed-Khaiyum at a press conference.
Of the 2000
designs submitted, Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said the 23 managed to make it
through the eliminations.
Today,
these designs are available in the NewFijiFlag.com website for public to choose
their preference on which design they would like to see for the new flag.
There is
also a texting platform on both mobile phone providers Digicel and Vodafone
where people can text in their flag code through 323 for Vodafone and 170
for Digicel subscribers.
