Loata Lewageena of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School has done it again.
Lewageena has once again set a new record, this time in the 2025 intermediate girls discus throw.
The 17-year-old recorded a throw of 46.02m after initially throwing 44.87.
Both attempts surpassed the 2024 record of 42.54m which was held by Brieanna Rabakena of Swami Vivekananda College.
Lewageena came into the Fiji Finals with the best throw of 42.55m in the Suva Zone 1 which had already surpassed the Games record.
