2022 General Election: ‘More prosperity’

A chief in the Western Division cast his vote in the hope there will be more prosperity in the coming years.

That is the reason Tui Vitogo Ratu Wiliame Sovasova voted at the Vitogo District School polling station.

Ratu Wiliame said he did not want to miss out as elections were important for any country.

“I am grateful to the plan that has been set out by the Fijian Elections Office today (Wednesday) and I am glad that I was able to vote too,” he said.

“I wanted to be part of the many Fijians that will be casting their vote.

“A lot of people have been waiting a long time for this day.

“I am grateful that I was able to come and vote for a new government.

“Regarding the voting process, Ratu Wiliame said.

“From what I have seen before, this was one of the best elections I have been part of.

“The process was very easy and the elections official were able to help me cast my vote from my vehicle.

“I am grateful to the elections officials for making it easy for me.” Ratu Wiliame hopes the next government will ensure that people are well served.
