2022 BOG: Navua comes back strong to hold Rewa to a draw

The Aldex Trading Navua FC put on a strong performance in the second half as they came from behind to hold Rewa FC 2-2 in their Group B fixture of the 2022 Punjas Battle of the Giants tournament at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.

The Delta Tigers scored in the 44th minute of play through mid-fielder Tevita Waranaivalu to lead Navua FC by 1-0 going into the breather.

Ilisoni Tuinawaivuvu put Rewa up by two goals in the 60th minute.

A rejuvenated Navua FC played with great intensity in the second spell and were rewarded through a goal by Nemani Doli in the 80th minute.

Suliano Doli got the equalizer for Navua in the 90th minute.
