TWO people have died and another admitted in hospital following a fire incident that destroyed a double-storey house on Matana St in Nakasi on Friday night.
The victims are said to be former lawyer Sunil Kumar and his son, who was a known taxidriver in the area.
The third, neighbours said is a woman who attempted to save the father and son from the house.
According to neighbours, the fire broke out shortly after 8pm, quickly spreading through the house and burnt the family vehicle.
Nearby residents described the family as respectable and private, known to greet others but mostly keeping to themselves.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze.
