19,523 students sit for Year 8 exam

More than 19,000 students are registered for the Fiji Year Eighth Examination (FY8E) which began yesterday and will end tomorrow.

Through a media statement, Education Minister Aseri Radrodro encouraged students to do their best.

He also encouraged parents and guardians to support their children with their needs for their external examination.

Students took their mathematics and vernacular papers yesterday.

Today, it’s English and healthy living followed by basic science and social science tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Year 13 students will have their national exams from November 6 to November 17 while the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination begins on November 21 and will end on December 1.
