Sixteen-year-old Briana Rabakewa proved her worth after bagging a bronze medal for Team Fiji in the women’s discus finals at the Pacific Games.

She threw 42.57metres, breaking her personal best of 33 metres.

The Swami Vivekananda College student participated in the Coca-Cola Games earlier this year in the discus event where she was placed second last in the event.

Six months later, Rabakewa is now a Pacific Games bronze medalist.
