$100k boost for Cure Kids

THE Fiji Water Foundation has given $100,000 to Cure Kids Fiji in support of its rheumatic heart disease program.

In a statement, Fiji Water Foundation stated the funds would go towards raising awareness, diagnosing and treating rheumatic heart disease among children in Fiji.

Dr Sainimere Boladuadua, who accepted the assistance on behalf of Cure Kids Fiji, was overwhelmed with the support.

Fiji Water CEO Rokoseru Nabalarua said he was content with Cure Kids Fiji in the work that they did to help children with rheumatic heart disease.

“We acknowledge the excellent contribution Cure Kids is providing, working closely with the Ministry of Health to diagnose and treat this serious disease,” Mr Nabalarua said.
