READERS of The Fiji Times can expect something new from today. This follows the launch of The Fiji Times e-edition at Suva’s Grand Pacific Hotel last night.

Editor-in-Chief Fred Wesley said it was a milestone achievement for the company.

“It is going to be a brand new experience for loyal The Fiji Times readers who still prefer to read the daily edition of the newspaper,” he said.

They will now be able to do that online, he said.

The Fiji Times Publisher and General Manager Hank Arts said the launch of the e-paper format was a historic event for the company.

“In its 145 year progressive history The Fiji Times has always kept up to date with the very latest in technology,” he said.

The e-edition of The Fiji Times was officially launched by prolific letter writer Allen Lockington last night. Readers can log onto www.fijitimes.com to have a read of the new e-edition from mid-day today for free up until February 1, 2016 when it goes out on a subscription basis.
