Fiji women’s cricket team secured their first victory in the Pacific-France T20I Championship today, defeating France by 56 runs.
Captain Ilisapeci Waqavakatoga starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets to bowl out France for 59 in 16.4 overs.
Fiji had earlier posted 115/9, with Karalaini Vakuruivalu top scoring with 19.
They face France again at 7.30 tomorrow for the third position.
