  • Expect Occasional rain, heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms over the greater Suva-Nausori/Tailevu areas, Serua-Namosi, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, southern Bua and Cakaudrove Provinces.
  • Elsewhere, cloudy periods with isolated afternoon or evening showers.
  • Isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls likely.
  • Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying areas.
  • Outlook for Sunday: Expect strong easterly winds with speeds of 40 to 55km/hr over Lau & Lomaiviti group, coastal land areas of Ra-Rakiraki, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Yasawa and Mamanuca group, coastal land areas of Serua/ Namosi, Suva/Nausori to Tailevu, southern Bua, and Cakaudrove to Udu Point.
  • Elsewhere, moderate to fresh easterly winds, gusty at times.
  • Winds expected to ease by later in the day.
  • Rough to very rough seas. Seas expected to become moderate to rough later in the day.
