A STRONG wind warning remains in force for land areas of Southern Lau group.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this afternoon says a shallow low pressure system embedded along a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the southern parts of the country.
Associated cloud and showers affect the southern and eastern parts of the group.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect easterly winds with average speed of upto 50 km/hr and gusting up to 60 km/hr over the Southern Lau Group.
Winds expected to gradually ease from later today with rough seas.
