THE Four Thirteens netball team from Sydney, Australia, this morning visited the Walk On Walk Strong (WOWS) Kids Fiji at Rewa Street in Suva.

They were hosted to lunch and also spent time with children diagnosed with cancer.

Team vice-captain Logan Ngaropo said she was touched to hear stories of children suffering from cancer in Fiji, and the fact they did not have much opportunities in accessing treatment compared to Australians.

WOWS Kids Fiji team leader Viola Lesi said they raised awareness programs so that parents could familiarise themselves with the symptoms of cancer.
